So excited to share hopefully my last bumpdate and this adorable off the shoulder maternity dress! I am wearing this PinkBlush maternity dress, size small  and in gray for reference, and it would be perfect for summer parties or date night during the warmer months! Very comfy, while still looking put together. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Paul and I spent ours busy with a few parties in the evenings and managed to get some much needed quality time together on some long walks and park dates! Let me know if anyone has any questions about my bumpdate below. I love hearing from readers 🙂

38 WEEK BUMP DATE

How Far Along? 38 Weeks (practically 39) or just 8 days to go! Woohoo!

Size of Baby: Swiss Chard or about 19-22 inches and 6.5 pounds

Gender: Boy!

Weight Gain: 30 pounds as of this morning. My weight has been going haywire as of lately. I was up to 35 pounds last week and then I lost 5 pounds overnight one day and since that day I have continued to lose weight. I know it has a lot to do with swelling! Remember when I said I haven’t had any issues with swelling!? Welp, it has caught up with me in such a bad way! On days where I don’t watch my sodium, I can gain as much as 8 pounds from morning to evening and be back down 8 pounds overnight. It is BIZARRE! So just warning any other pregnant ladies out there…. Anyone else have this extreme?

Maternity Clothes: All i’m wearing right now is maternity. I am also all about comfort, so yoga pants and my husbands sweatpants have been on repeat.

Symptoms: Lots to talk about here! Constant back pain and not sleeping at all- still waking up at 4 AM on most nights and can’t get back to sleep till around 6. Which is rough for the workweek. My wedding ring has been off for the past weeks due to swelling, with no hopes of coming back on anytime soon. And also, been having braxton hicks since 36 weeks and they have continued consistently every day and been more frequent these last few days. Finally, I lost my mucus plug last week. If you don’t know what that means, please DON’T google it. Ask a mommy friend instead. Its terribly disgusting and really just means your body is getting ready for the big event. Sorry if that’s TMI for some!

Cravings: Still haven’t had the food cravings that I had back during the 2nd trimester. However, it is nearly my last week of pregnancy so I plan on eating a few of my favorite donuts and treats 🙂

Aversions: Same as cravings, pretty much back to normal.

Best Moments: Paul and I have had the best past month, especially the past couple days. We are so dang excited for out little boys arrival, we have been just on cloud nine! Every time I make a crazy face or gasp because of a braxton hicks contraction, he perks up like I am going into labor.

Looking Forward To: Meeting our boy! Duh!
