It’s no secret that I am a fan of Champagne. So when the girls at La Ville let me know this very special t-shirt was in stores, I knew it had to go home with me. Dressing up a graphic tee is so easy to do. They pair easily with jeans but to dress up your tee, I like to add mine to a great skirt or pair of dressy shorts like the striped pair shown. Then, all you have to do is add a statement necklace and “Wahlah!”

I wore this look to a casual 50th anniversary party for my Great Aunt and Uncle on Saturday afternoon. I would have paired it with wedges, however I twisted my ankle last week while at a cardio workout class in Chicago. Funny story. I have rolled my left ankle three other times from playing high-school and college volleyball and overall it has always been a problem and weak compared to my right. So, I was in this 30-minute cardio class, barefoot (at the instructor’s request) and was doing high-knees with weights in front of me. I got too close to the weights and stepped my left foot down on a weight and went tumbling down to the ground. Pretty embarrassing when you are at the front of a class of thirty people.

Anyways, the instructor came over to me asked if I was okay, I obviously said, “No, I need to go….” and then I hobbled back to my hotel. Couple hours later I received an email from the instructor. He asked how my ankle was doing and if I got home okay. He then ended the email by saying that I was really “excelling” in the class. ha! I don’t know if he was just being nice or just wanted me to come back, because I was only five minutes into the class before I rolled my ankle. Either way, it was so sweet for the instructor to reach out to me and I thought the comment was hilarious. It was only a minor sprang, so I am back to walking normal and should be back in wedges any day now. 🙂

Hope you all have been having a wonderful week. I am looking forward to a long holiday weekend and will be traveling to the Florida keys with Paul, my parents and my sister and brother-in-law. It is going to be a great trip! Be sure to follow along on my instagram and snap chat. SC: junnerstall.
