Hi friends! These past two weeks have been insanely crazy. Between prepping for trade-show season at work (I am a Marketing Manager for a local material handling company) and St. Louis Fashion Week, I barely had time for anything else! So, quick apology for the lack of consistent posts. However, I am now currently on vacation down in the Florida Keys and so excited to have a breath of
salty fresh air. And I am writing this post with a glass of champagne next to me, which makes this vacation off to a fabulous start.
If you follow me on instagram or twitter, you might have seen a few posts about the events last week during STLFW. Well…for a three word recap. IT WAS AMAZING! There were so many incredible events open to the public including the Caleres Emerging Designer Competition Fashion Show at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel. <Post to come on that.> Though the icing on fashion week cake had to have been being selected to be an Official Fashion Week Blogger! I had so much fun mingling and hanging out with the other bloggers the entire week and made some amazing new friends.
Now to one of my favorite fashion week blogger events, Breakfast with Naturalizer. Naturalizer is located here in St. Louis at the Galleria and they were gracious enough to host us at their store. A few other bloggers and myself were not able to attend the official event where lead Designer Angelique Joseph made an appearance and spoke about this years trends. However, we were able to shop the store the day prior and talk with Naturalizer’s marketing manager, Sara. We also took home a pair of complimentary boots!
Naturalizer is one of the many portfolio of brands carried by Caleres, formerly known as The Brown Shoe Company. Some of the other brands that fall under Caleres’ umbrella are Sam Edelman (my favorite!), Franco Sarto, Via Spiga, Vince, Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), Carlos by Carlos Santana, Fergie Footwear and Famous Footwear.
Caleres, Inc. launched it’s Naturalizer footwear line in 1927, with the goal of combining comfort with current fashion for women. Today, Naturalizer stays true to their roots and provides feminine, stylish shoes that are comfortable enough for any busy woman! They have the perfect solution for shoes that you really can wear all day and night. Tried and true by yours truly!
Currently, I have my eyes on these pumps and I know I can wear these from morning to night for long days at work or when I am at a trade-show and on my feet all day. Comfort and style are two of the most important factors to me when picking a new pair of shoes, which is the same values Naturalizer incorporates into their styles. Naturalizer has introduced brand-new comfort technology that has been integrated into most of their pumps, boots, and booties called The N5 Contour by Naturalizer. At let me tell you, it makes wearing pumps and anything with a heel second best to wearing a pair of tennies. No joke! Their N5 Contour features 5 levels of comfort technology including Cushioning, Breathability, Balance, Flexibility, and they are Lightweight. What more can you ask for in a shoe!
There were so many gorgeous shoes, it was difficult to pick just one! I was deciding between this pair of Jarrett black booties and these tall Jordie leather boots. I opted to go the practical route and took home the Jordie banana bread leather boots. I have been looking for a super comfortable brown leather boot this season and these ones are exactly what I have been needing! These black booties were stiff competition though. So cute!
Took these home!
